This textile has a rich history and was traded across the Sahel as a currency long before colonization in West Africa. Stripweaving from northern Ghana is now primarily made into Batakari, a loose smock that northern men dance and twirl in.

We ship USPS to orders in the United States, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia. All other countries we UPS. We ship within 1-5 days of order time. If you have specific mailing needs or a rush, please get in touch when you order. All packages we ship are trackable.
