What do you do? How did you get started?
I do almost everything related to fashion, from making things to wearing them. I am an artist with focus on designing and modelling currently designing and making accessories for my brand, KAYADUA. I started about 7 months ago. Prior to that I was doing a lot of experimenting to know where I wanted to direct my art.
What do you love most about your work?
I love the process most.
What are you working on now?
I am currently on myself and my brand for a more clear vision.
Where do you find inspiration?
Life is my biggest inspiration.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Take time and get myself ready for the day in the morning. Start work anytime from 8 -11am and ends anytime from 7-12pm with an hour break with some reading to end the day.
Is there any music you’re loving right now?
Oh music , not sure I can pick one but I’m currently listening to anything from Marvin Gaye and Passenger.
What advice do you have to offer someone who is just starting out?
I will say, learn to hear yourself and listen when you do.
